Chinese Nuances
Golden Lotus Restaurant at the Bali Dynasty Resort features a Chinese New Year highlight and a quarterly food promotion held from February to April, namely the Golden Lotus Spring Special. The Chinese New Year celebration features a New Year Signature dish "Yee Sang" available through February 10. The dish is available by portion: small at Rp. 60,000 nett, medium at Rp. 120,000 nett, and large at Rp. 175,000 nett. Yee Sang is a Chinese salad made up of thinly sliced carrots, shredded yam, pickles, white sesame, chopped peanut, Mandarin orange leaves, spring onions, sweet potato, Chinese spices, and salmon fillet mixed with Golden Lotus special sauce. According to Chinese belief the dish must be feasted upon during Chinese New Year and they believe that life and business will be prosperous as it warrants good luck.
